California Rep. Adam Schiff; The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee indicates uneasiness that Mueller has not taken appropriated actions for the exploration of President Trump’s assets saying, “the House investigators plan to probe Trump’s relationship with a bank implicated in Russian money laundering.”
Schiff added; “We are not interested in our committee in whether he’s a tax cheat or not worth what he says he is, What we are interested in is, does the president have business dealings with Russia such that it compromises the United States?”
The California Congressman Schiff worries that Mueller has steered clear of probing President Trump’s relationship with Deutsche Bank a German lender.
The Congressman saying, “if the special counsel hasn’t subpoenaed Deutsche Bank, he can’t be doing much of a money laundering investigation.”
The special counsel office reassured President Trump’s attorneys that he was not investigating Deutsche Bank documents of President Trump’s financial business. The Financial institution became crucial to President Trump during his unfortunate bankruptcies that kept U.S. lending institutions unable to do real estate deals; when President Trump was a real estate developer.
“Under what basis would he do that? He has no basis to do that,” Trump told reporters when asked about Schiff’s plans. “No other politician has to go through that. It’s called presidential harassment. And it’s unfortunate. And it really does hurt our country.”
