South Carolina, Senator Lindsey Graham is proving to be true; that a battle will arise with some Republicans if a declaration of a national emergency to build the wall on the Southern Border. The plan splits Republicans, Senator Graham quarreled; for the party to join forces, backing President Trump; if getting around Congress hits a dead-end.
“It seems to me that he’s gonna have to go it alone, but there could be a war within the Republican Party over the wall,” Graham said. Graham quoted; “stand with” and “get behind the president”.
He added; “To any Republican who denies the president the ability to act as commander in chief, you’re going to create a real problem within the party,”
“I don’t take anything off the table. I don’t like to take things off the table. It’s that alternative. It’s a national emergency, it’s other things and you know there have been plenty of national emergencies called. And this really is an invasion of our country by human traffickers,” Trump told CBS, asked if he would shut down the government.
